MILAN - At 11:15, as per official protocol, the president of Mongolia, Tsakhia Elbegdor, arrived at the Inter headquarters, where he was awaited by president Massimo Moratti. Elbegdor was accompanied by a large delegation of political figures and by Khamba Lama, Choijamts Demberel, head of the Mongolian Buddhist Centre. In the previous days, president Elbegdorj had been received by Giorgio Napolitano, president of the Italian Republic, and Pope Benedict XVI, as well as by prominent political and business figures in Milan.
Elbegdorj's passion for the black and blue is very strong and he admits that he follows all the matches. "Inter keep me awake at night," said one of the most innovative politicians in the world who, after Communism, is pursuing bold programmes and strategies to complete the process of democratisation.
His first words, even before stepping into the trophy room, expressed his satisfaction with the win against Lille, but president Elbegdorj is a person able to understand Inter in its entirety, as if he had always been part of it. He expressed appreciation and gratitude towards Inter Campus, with the same enthusiasm with which he has stood before the Champions League and Club World Cup trophies.
