MILAN - Speaking on Sky Italia after Inter's Champions League victory over Ajax, Francesco Toldo said: "We ran the game calmly, even if there was a bit a tension right until the end because it never takes much to let in a goal. Inter started well from the first minute, unlike what we did in Amsterdam.
"Now we continue in the Champions League and we have to take it one match at a time because they will all be difficult. We're giving very little away to our opponents this year, the coach has done a lot of work on defence since last year and you can see the results.
"The period when I wasn't playing taught me to resist, work and stay calm. Do I believe in my World Cup chances? For me it has been my first experience on the bench in my career, but I accepted it because you see football in a different light. For the World Cup Lippi will decide. All I can do is try to play well when called into action."
