CUPER: "CRESPO STILL ISN'T ONE HUNDRED PERCENT, BUT HE'S ALMOST THERE."

MILAN - Hector Cuper press conference (5):

There has often been mention of the names of possible successors to you as Inter coach. Have you ever felt in difficulty?
I'm only in difficulty when the team doesn't win. I will feel in the kind of difficulty you're referring to when the president tells me my position depends on one result, and this still hasn't happened.

Are you against fining players that repeatedly pick up match suspensions, like Bayern Munich have done?
I'm against it because I don't think a fine resolves the problem. The worst punishment for a player is to realise the difficulty he has put his team-mates in. I think in a first instance it's right to turn a blind eye, but if it happens two or three times then it's right to intervene.

What condition is Hernan Crespo in?
He's not far from being one hundred percent, at least on a physical level. He still does't have ninety minutes in him, but I think the problem will be overcome after the match with Lazio.

Do you think it's opportune to have international friendlies in the conclusive phase of the season?
As coach of a club side I have to say they create a considerable disturbance. There's the risk of a few players getting hurt. In my situation the problem is that I have a weakened squad. There wouldn't be any problems with a full squad.

If someone gave you one hundred million euros, would you buy Giggs and Beckham?
Do you have all this money?
