MILAN – Inter defender Marco Materazzi gave an interview with inter.it. Here's what he had to
say.
What was lacking against Milan?
"Above all AC Milan played an
excellent match and we also lacked a pinch of luck. In the first half there weren't many scoring
chances. After the goal and eleven against ten they had more chances. It is not easy in those
conditions and even if we were a bit open, they didn’t score."
A tired squad for the
Champions League or something further?
"I would say it’s too easy
to blame it on tiredness. We anticipated for the Italian Cup semi-final, and knowing Perugia it’s
important to have an extra day of rest because Perugia are a strong side."
