APPIANO GENTILE – Inter completed their first training session of the week ahead of their Round of 16 first-leg tie in the UEFA Europa League: the team kicked things off by warming up in the gym before the players then took to the training pitch, where they did rondos under light drizzle.
Following this, they worked on ball possession: only two touches were allowed, with each team having two goalkeepers defending small goals. After this drill, Spalletti instructed his players to take part in a series of practice matches on a small pitch after having split the squad into two groups of ten. There was then a final practice match with ten men on each team.
