GAGLIARDINI: "WE'RE A GOOD GROUP"

The midfielder netted a brace against Genoa: "We played a great game in Rome and again today we were rewarded with the result"

MILAN - After starting and scoring a brace, Roberto Gagliardini spoke exclusively with Inter TV.

"We played a great game in Rome and once again today we were rewarded by the result," he began. "It was a good performance, it was important to bring consistency ahead of an important match such as the Barcelona one. Winning helps you to feel good, it helps with the group’s self-confidence and it keeps the group steady. It’s always important to keep doing well.

"We’re a good group, those who play less still train well and this shows when we go on. Strong players have come in, the standard has increased and this is important.

"To play at three in the afternoon with 70,000 people in attendance doesn’t happen for anyone else in Italy, I tip my hat to our fans. We want to make them happy. I dedicate my first brace in Serie A to my family, my girlfriend and everyone who has been close to me."
