Silao (Guanajuato, Mexico) - (Ansa) Pirelli always undertake social projects alongside their industrial investment and - in Mexico - the opening of the Silao plant also sees the creation of Inter Campus Pirelli Silao, an F.C. Internazionale initiative, supported by Pirelli, with the aim to give kids a place to go.
The project will also support the 'Casa Hangar Peter Pan', which takes in kids in need. Pirelli is responsible for providing sponsorship and guaranteeing sporting activity in Silao, while Inter Campus is committed to training local educators through tailor-made courses and providing equipment to all the children taking part in the programme (including training and first team kits, sponsored by Pirelli).
The aim is to get 200 children involved in the first two years, as well as train 5 local educators who will run the centre the Inter Campus way.
