World Cup qualifiers for Forlan, Guarin and Nagatomo, friendlies for Juan Jesus and Sneijder

MILAN - A weekend of international football is fast-approaching and the Nerazzurri will have 5 players in action. On Saturday 2 June 2012, Diego Forlan's Uruguay will meet Venezuela at the Estadio Centenario in Montevideo (kick-off 15:00 local time). More than 45,000 tickets have already been sold for a game which is thought to be crucial in qualifying for Brazil 2014. The 'Celeste' are tied on 7 points with their opponents but have a game in hand, and they will look to record back-to-back home wins as they also welcome Peru to the Uruguayan capital, on 10 June. Staying with the South American qualifying section, Fredy Guarin and Colombia will be in action against Peru in Lima on Sunday 3 June (kick-off 19:00 local time).

On the other side of the Pacific Ocean (Northern Hemisphere), Yuto Nagatomo will meet Oman in Saitama on Sunday 3 June (kick-off 19:30 local time). The Oman match represents Alberto Zaccheroni's Japan side's first of three consecutive games in their qualifying section for the 2014 World Cup.

More friendlies on the other hand for Brazil and Juan Jesus as they take on Mexico in Arlington, Texas (kick-off 21:00 local time), while Netherlands' Wesley Sneijder meets Northern Ireland in Amsterdam (kick-off 20:00 local time). The 'Seleção' are building up to the London Olympics while the 'Oranje' prepare for the Euros.
