APPIANO GENTILE – The second training session finished a short time ago as Inter prepare to take on Chievo Verona in Week 8 Serie A 2011/12, scheduled for Sunday 23 October at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in the San Siro district of Milan, kick-off 15:00.
The group warmed up and then went on to complete a technical, tactical and athletic session lasting about 90 minutes. All of the players available took part in the drills at differing levels according to their personal needs and how they were used in the match on Tuesday in Lille in the UEFA Champions League tie. There were personalised sessions aimed at recovering from their injuries for Coutinho, Diego Forlan (who did some light aerobic work on the pitch), Andrea Poli, Andrea Ranocchia (also specific work on the pitch and warm-up with the group), Walter Samuel (carried out aerobic work on the pitch too) and Emiliano Viviano.
At the end of the session, Claudio Ranieri received birthday greetings from the technical and medical staff, from the players and from the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti staff. They celebrated with spumante and cakes he had brought.
Shortly on inter.it you'll be able to read what the Nerazzurri coach said on Inter Channel on the day of his 60th birthday.
