LILLE - "We must get going again in the league on Sunday. It's not a great moment but today's win is a morale-booster and that's a good thing. We'll sleep soundly tonight and tomorrow we'll starting thinking about the Chievo match." Julio Cesar certainly will sleep soundly tonight, and after his fantastic performance against Lille this evening he may well dream of a repeat showing next Sunday.
"It's good to see president Moratti smiling," Julio Cesar told Inter Channel. "He's a fan; he lives for Inter. We know how much he's suffering at the moment but it's up to us to get back on track immediately to keep him smiling. We players suffer too when we go though these difficult spells. Our president is an important figure for us, he's the symbol of Inter, a person who will always be close to us, in the good and in the not so good moments."
The Brazilian keeper ended by replying to a question about what has been written in the papers recently about the Nerazzurri defence: "They say that Inter have lost their invincibility, that the rock solid defence of old is now our weak spot, but I have great faith in my own ability and in the ability of my team-mates who play in defence. I have confidence in whoever plays in front of me, but you go through different moments in football. Now it's up to us to show how strong we are."
