VIVIANO INJURY: TEST RESULTS

Anterior cruciate ligament tear (left knee) for the keeper; operation required

APPIANO GENTILE – Following his injury while training at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti this afternoon, Emiliano Viviano underwent diagnostic procedures at the orthopaedic clinic of the IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo in Pavia, supervised by F.C. Internazionale's chief of medical staff professor Franco Combi.

The tests revealed a complete tear of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. Surgery is required, and will be planned over the next few days.
