CUPER: "IF YOU PUT MORE STRIKERS ON IT DOESN'T MEAN YOU ATTACK MORE"

MILAN - In a post-derby interview with RAI, Hector Cuper was asked which Nerazzurri player should dictate the pace of the team's game.

The Argentine coach replied: "If we evaluate the quality we have in midfield, Emre is the man who should run the team."

In reply to those who asked for more forwards on the pitch, Cuper said: "If you put more strikers on it doesn't mean you attack more. You can also be an attacking team with eleven defenders. You can advance Zanetti, he has already done it on many occasions and he has done it well. There are different ways of winning matches. Inter often fielded three strikers last year and it didn't go well. A team always attacks together."
